Wow, I just went back and looked and I ordered my knives (2) on they day they became available, 7/21.

Me too! I can't believe that was almost three months ago. Wow.

Participating in and watching how this knife came together has been a great experience that is sure to make this one of the more special knives in my collection. Thanks again to Charlie, Barry, Eric, and all those who have made this possible.

Ha, your post made me go back and look at my orders. I have one dated 7/21, and one on 10/6. Alpha and Omega.

I only requested one of the 2015 on 7/30, and am not going to carry it.....I like bolsters too much, lol.

Still carrying the two blade GEC quite frequently....NOT crazy about the carbon steel, but LOOVVVE the pattern!

Definitely looking forward to this one. With the number of usa made traditionals I own I am definitely sorry to say that only one of them is a canal st. made. And it's not even canal st branded (one of those dogs head Kabar contract knives). Not sure why, I guess I've just been waiting for one that's not too much like anything else I already have. Definitely great knives. But the truth is I would have bought this no matter what, just to keep my forum knife streak running. I like supporting this, in addition to the BLadeforums in general. Happy coincidence.

Glad they sold out, thanks to everyone who pushes this forward each year.

Oh, well, does it help that I 'thought' about ordering way before 7-21 I'm pretty sure my intent was fairly early in the order process...honest injun....
