Just caught up reading again! Even if mine is one of the first group to ship out, I'll probably be one of the last to get mine!! It's getting shipped to my US address first and then forwarded to me down South. Mail has been taking 4-8 weeks lately and there have been some that have taken over 3 months! Here's to hoping this package doesn't take that long whenever it is shipped out.

Looking forward to some finished product pics!

Hi folks, got another pic for ya, shields are pinned and I'm in the process of installing the rosettes now. Should be starting assembly in earnest next week, hopefully the first hundred will go out by week's end. I'll take a lot more pics as things progress through the assembly process, up to now there hasn't been much to show, especially since I've been doing the prepping on these guys while we work through a backlog of orders that had to go out before the Christmas rush. So far everything looks good, did a trial assembly last week and found that the pin I planned on using for the shields wasn't going to work, but in rummaging through the old stock I found one that's exactly what I had in mind, so that worked out nicely. I'll keep you posted!

Probably later here, being shipped to my dad in NY and then finding it's way out to me here in Jerusalem :) Minimum of a month from the US at present :(
 
Thanks for posting pictures. I think watching it being made really adds to the final product. I wish more makers would post pictures and video's of the process. Really shows you the value in a knife and just how involved it is to make vs manufacture.

I did a map for the 2011 knife when I was working with Campbell and Chris on that one.

I wasn't overly excited about this pattern choice from the beginning, but the more I anticipate it I am thinking it is going to be one of my favorite traditionals. Thanks for the new picture. Looking forward to more.
 
I think this forum knife will be absolutely great as an edc user. Long, full clip and secondary sheepfoot sitting in a deep single spring. Shadow pivots in classic wood. I'm looking forward to it, though I'm not sure I'll be able to keep it. The pictures look great.

School, mostly. I started tallying up my TC collection for sale tonight. But I really think this year's forum knife is gonna be a winner, and I wish I hadn't sold last year's. So hopefully it doesn't come to that!

Who is hoping for a wilder wood pattern and who wants a more uniform pattern? I'm hoping for something on the wilder side.
