2015 Forum Knife. A Work in Progress!

Thanks for setting that straight, Barry. Let's try and ignore the rumors that might be generated. Wait for Barry or Charlie to provide us an update when they have one. They are the ones in the know!

OK, so there is a rumor that the first 100 knives have shipped, however, I have no confirmation from the manufacturer and no tracking number for the shipment. I can tell you this for certain: when your order ships from me, you will get an email notification from my site as well as one from my shipping software that will include a tracking number.:D If the aforementioned rumor is true, I won't receive the first batch before Friday next week, and so I don't expect to have any individual orders shipped before 11/28 at the soonest. :(

I'd hoped these would have been shipped by now, but I am still hopefull they will arrive to you before Christmas. [emoji106][emoji106]

Your knife order will be shipped in the numerical order it was received. Multiple orders will be shipped in the same parcel when possible.

Please don't overwhelm me with emails wondering if your order shipped, you will be notified. THANK YOU !!! :):):)
Thank you for setting things straight in a reasonable manner.

It is asking a lot from the folks who are handling the Forum knives to look up the date you placed the order, then the time your knife might be shipped! Sheeesh!
Please be patient and accept the knife as a pleasant surprise - whenever it comes!!
I can't imagine that any of them will miss Christmas. CSC tells me another week or two will see them all completed!

At this point, I can definitely imagine it. In any event, I think that it will be close. I do not personally care whether it arrives for Christmas or now, but I think it is better if folks keep their expectations low.

I'm fine with after Christmas as well. The excitement of getting the knife happens twice: once when it ships (this is where the notification email is awesome) and again 3 days later after the 400th time you've refreshed the tracking number page and it says DELIVERED! Of course you fake a call from your neighbor that said he saw smoke coming from your house, race home an hour before your lunch break (because that is the eternal hour), tear open your mailbox (keeping the junk mail tucked under your arm), rip open the Flat Rate box, carefully extract the knife from the fancy box (you'll read it 3 times... later), open and close each blade a few times, then you shred the junk mail that was tucked under your arm. Of course you take 70 pictures (but only keep the best 65). And set them to upload as you race back to work. The rest of the day is spent on that knife's special post.

The knife is your favorite (you mention it's your favorite a few times on here) until someone mentions they can see light when they held their knife just right on a sunny day... You pull yours out of your pocket and hold it up...

Thanks Jack, that's all I ask. Don't worry, I won't email you asking if my knife has shipped yet. I can get that information right here. ;)

Mac, that is solid gold. :D

Thank you very much for the update, Barry. I'm looking forward to the knife and will wait patiently (mostly :) ).

??????????????????????????????

I hadn't been around in a while, saw that post and had to backtrack a couple pages before it dawned on me that that post was some sort of attempt at humor, or a joke.

Thanks Barry, for setting the record strait :thumbup: All good things in due time.

Sigh. Some things are too serious to joke about.
For knife knuts, shipment of knives definitely falls into that category.

Thanks for the clarification, Barry.

I'm in no hurry, the end quality is the main thing. I've found a clever way of passing the time waiting for shipping: buy another knife :)

I have even better strategy. Order several knives from other continent, so that shipping times become completely random and somewhere between 3 to 10 weeks - at that point you do not even know which knife it is you are about to pick up at local customs or post office - works like a charm :)

oh yes, I'm well familiar with that one.

Whatever floats your boat. The knife will arrive when it arrives and I don't intend to spend money ordering additional knives whether from this continent or another continent just to make me feel better in the interim but if it helps you out then buy more knives.:)
