2015 Forum Knife - It's Never Too Early To Think About the Next Blade Forum Knife

The two blade, single spring knife is a marvel of cutlery genius! I have always loved them. I have gone on and on about them before!
Still . . . . . . . . .

Ladies and Gents, I think we've piqued the interest of he who matters :)

Just wave these pictures at them Charlie. Tell 'em, "single spring, two blades!"

My favourites too, or ANY single-spring two blade knife (not been done as an FK before either...)

Interestingly enough...the new GEC 38 frame could house a knife not unlike the Erickson and the 81 Coon Skinner/Abilene could give us something along the lines of that Schrade but perhaps with Sheepfoot?

Seem to remember that Queen's Keystone series had a Wormgroove Bone Swell-Centre around the 4" mark which could be a Surveyor type.....:thumbup:

Any two blade, single spring knife gets my vote. Do what you want with pattern, blades, handle covers. If it's single spring and two blades, I'm happy!👍

You guys know I like 'em.How can something be simply complicated? as the head scratches begin again.

Lots of knife in a slim package.... add some great jigged bone and a good shield. Winner!!!!!

BTW.... old schrade peach seed or corn cob would be great options for jigging. ;)

Since we just had a bone handle last year, I'd love to see a Micarta handle this year. We could go totally crazy and get some from Shadetree! :)

Last year's knife had stag (antler) handles. Considering that this is the traditional forum knife, I personally prefer to stick to traditional (natural) scale materials.

To each their own! 'Traditionals' to me is interpreted as the patterns, not just the handle matetials! There are a lot of Traditional makers that use a micarta material for their handles and I do believe their are a lot of fanatics that love their work. Either way, I'll be fine with what the masses ask for and the peeps in charge decide on. A beautiful wood would also be welcome!

Last year was antler. Micarta was 2013.

Corn cob 2015!!!!!! :D

I'd be game for that! Or a pinecone! Is that natural enough?! ;);)

That's why I mentioned Shadetree micartas since he has done things like coconut, firehose, blue jeans, etc . . . you know, something different!
