2015 Holiday Season COMBAT TACTICAL KIRIDASHI - Son of Son of EXACTIMUNDO

*I don't actually do drugs. Really. I'm pretty boring and lame, really.[/QUOTE]

With an imagination like yours, I have to wonder what your threads would be like if you did do drugs. LOL

I can't believe this is still here. I am going to have to have a seance with my Mom to make sure it will be appropraite for all my tactial box opening and zip tie cutting.

Thanks, gang. Looks like this is getting long in the tooth, and all signs are pointing to Lorien getting dibs on this one. Moms will be happy. It's not too late, though - someone can abscond with it! I'm holding out hope.

Not really sure why dogs react as poorly as they do in the presence of the EXACTIMUNDO.

Perhaps it's a latent evolutionary trait from when primitive canines were accosted by giant flying insects in the paleolithic era. Giant, flying insects that looked just like the Exactimundo, except with nasty, big, pointy teeth...

My dog became almost entirely inconsolable when this project began. I've found the only thing that snaps him out of his despair is Mexican food:

It's ok Mat. I'll take it. Lorien has far too many knives already! Happy holidays all!

Too funny!

Well, if you're serious, Calhoon, it's your's. Hit me with an email or a PM and we'll arrange the rest.

Lorien, once again you've been intentionally snaked.;) I'll make it up to you, bud.

Good times!

Lorien, once again you've been intentionally snaked.;) I'll make it up to you, bud.

Well, goddamn! Here's hoping your dog eats a canful of refried beans, and the two of you get locked in a tiny room for a few hours :devilish:

All the best, my friend!

Hilarious!!

"Says someone is bound to get hurt, and it'll be all my fault."
PLEASE don't tell me she's saying that like it's a BAD thing...

I really enjoyed the 10CC music video. Really! I have it playing in the background on my computer
right now... I just can't understand how I haven't encountered that song in all these years... Bizarre!

Hey, speaking of "bizarre," I wondered what the knives you'd make while listening to these songs would look
like? (On "repeat", of course, 1 song per knife.)

"Creep", by Radiohead
"Hey Man, Nice Shot" by Filter
"The Star Spangled Banner" performed by Jimi Hendrix (instrumental version, of course)
"Tubular Bells" by Mike Oldfield (known to many as the theme from "a popular movie whose name will not be uttered")
"Thunderstruck," by AC/DC
The Hokey Pokey, by anybody

But seriously, folks, great advertisement!! Much humor, and you almost (ALMOST!!) succeeded in doing what
advertisement is meant to do -- making me want a... er, THE kiridashi, which I've never had even an inkling of
a desire to own. That in itself is quite the achievement. And, thanks for the tip on a proper work ethic. I'm gonna
have to work on that area of my life. Seriously!

I will be watching for future ads!* Merry Christmas!

John

*well, not actively. But I'll damn sure read them if I see one!

This is all very confusing after have supported the California Vinyard Sociaty all evening and having
Attended a Catholic Mass
This Morning.
I want a bigger one I think?
Never mind. I'll wait for a bigger one.

Always Opinionated
Occasionally correct.

Pretty good stuff, John F. I have a pretty diverse music collection, but there are a number of 'tried and true' songs and genres that work, and most are mood or task dependent. Maybe we should start a thread (or, better yet, a study!) to determine what music does to the Mind of a Knifemaker.

Dozier, my friend, sounds like you were in exactly the right mindset for the thread! If at all possible, I'd suggest you remain in that state for the rest of the weekend. If anyone protests, tell them you have a prescription for it.:D

Thanks again for everyone's participation in this goofiness. Means a lot to me. Happy Holidays to all!!!!

Calhoon has officially seceded his dibs on this one, and it will be heading to Lorien when it's finished, with a handful of customizations...:D

I know Moms is relieved.

Thanks again for all who participated in this fiasco. Look forward to this type of stupidity from me next year!

Look, I'm a sucker for shiny things. As pitiful as that dumb fish who can't resist biting every Thomas Buoyant that wobbles past until he has so many treble hooks hanging out of his lips he looks like this guy:

But with the 2012 zombie apocalypse due any time now, I need to know if the progeny of Exactimundo is more than just a pretty face with an icy gleam. Could you could baton it through some rotting flesh or a car door, or maybe a rolled up wet newspaper or something? If it stays shiny then maybe I could do like $65 net to me, but you have to ship DHL.
