2015, the snarkiest year yet!

back from deer camp sans deer.
they all went into hiding before the arctic front arrived along with the blizzard.
then all the clouds blew away and it got chilly - made for some brisk siting this morning - but the scenery was nice.

My son and I had the sausage plate since it's on the menu Fridays and Saturdays. Apparently the sausage burger made an impression on the Coloradans because she had one with onion rings and he had a double meat sausage burger with rings. The kids had corn dogs and my wife just had a burger.

Also came home with 9 pounds of bacon packed in 1.5 lb packages, a dozen sausage and cheese kolaches, and a dozen mixed fruit kolaches....

I had Green's ship some dried stix and dried sausage to the last gathering since I couldn't make it. Hopefully this spring I can bring some in person...

I suppose I should check out Enchanted Rock... Lived here 10 years and never been there.

My wife and daughter had the sausage plate and I had the sausage burger. LOL! I brought 3 lbs of maple bacon, 3 lbs of peppered bacon, 3 lbs of dried sausage sticks, 3 lbs of smoked beef and pork sausage, as 1 lb of beef jerky.

GSO- Thanks for letting us in on the greatness of Green's! Next time we're headed down that way I'll get in touch with you an Zzyzzogeton. Maybe we can have a Beckerhead bacon and kolache fiesta!!!

Lunch at Green's?? With tons of bacon and sausage and cheese and fresh baked bread??? Now why in the world would I want to do that? :rollyes: :D
 
Got some kick butt deer jerky from my ex wife's boyfriend, haha. Damn good stuff.

Haha, really. Nah, I get along with him pretty good. Hell, I've even been camping with him and the ex before. He used to send me some every year. This is the first time in probably 5 years that I got any.

One of my ex girlfriends and my wife are pretty good friends. She still goes to my father's house occasionally too. She is married with her own kids now but i still think its a little weird....

I hear ya, it is strange. They live in southern Illinois, and i live in central, so I rarely see them anymore. I was still single when we all went camping, etc. It was funny though, I would go to see my son before I got custody of him, and the ex's boyfriend would go hunting, or fishing, and leave us there together. Talk about strange. I never said anything, and one time the ex asked me if I thought it was strange that he left us there together alone, haha. I said, "yyyyyyyep". :D

Yep, It's happened to me 3 or 4 times this evening. whatever the hell a dotdefender is. And I gotta shut down my google browser completely and bring it back up to see BF pages. I can go to other open windows and they work, but the BF window it pops up in keeps popping up the dotdefender screen even if I close that particular window and open a new one for BF.

Sounds like a plan. I usually go by every 4 to 8 weeks for bacon resupply, depending on usage rates...
