2015, the snarkiest year yet!

that sounds like a plan, zzy. So far my growler has been filled once...with water...

Simple solution - get a 32 oz. growler.

Go inside and buy 32 oz.
Go out to the car.
Pour the beer into the 64 oz. Beckerhead growler.
Go back inside and buy a second 32 oz. worth.
Go back outside and pour that second 32 oz. into the Beckerhead 64 oz.
Go back inside again and fill the 32 oz'er again.
Now you have 96 oz. of goodness.

You're welcome. :D
Or, buy 2X 32oz growlers, get them filled, pour into 64oz growler, go get them refilled. Only have to make one extra trip, and have 128 Oz of beer.

Oh dear me. It appears that since I don't support it, I'm suddenly homophobic.

Don't take offense, this is the snark thread. Plus we are all secretly a little gay for someone! Unless you're Psyop, then it's not so secret. He runs around Half Moon Ridge without pants.

I'm only gay to people of the other gender. :D

That came out wrong.

The cabin time looks wonderful, Warrior! With -60 wind chills hitting us tonight, I imagine it'll be a while before I'm out to much.

Same here. We haven't been above 0 for a few days now. I think today's high was -14. Wind is blowing like crazy right now and the wind chill is in the -40's. I was gonna go fishing again today, but said to heck with it.

Warrior -

Thanks for the pics. The gray and rain here has had me hoping you had a great trip we could ride along on from our keyboards. Sorry the weather wasn't better for you, but still, thanks for sharing.

rkmoore -

Thanks for yours as well. I'll have to get out the Enchanted Rock one of these days. I've heard a lot about it over the years but never been.

devastating news: just found out that brewers won't fill a 64 oz growler as it is illegal in the state of Florida. This sucks!!! I need a 32 oz Beckerhead growler :grumpy:

I would be interested in a 32 ounce growler . . . if the powers-that-be could arrange it without too much trouble.

Any others that find 64 ounces is a bit much ? :barf:

And it would really be handy for uses other than beer :D

Oh that's a very old picture. That knife is this one - K9 duracoated it later and I took it to sea:

In fact, the one just above it is CBear's 100% mountain knife.

What about a few more of the little mini-muk that Amanda has now? That was pretty nice.

Thanks man. Was really wanting to get out and use the steel, but oh well, rain happens. Was looking forward to using the new Roselli, but there will be more opportunities. We still had fun.

Ooh yes, hope to do several more of those with the new machine.
If only I could make hotcakes in batches!

Sweet looking trips RK & Warrior

I agree with the above daizee. Those two are extremely hot. I can't stop looking at that Mariner......

I've been sidelined for over a year and a half but finally got to take a little trip with my wife and daughter. We decided to make it a day trip to Enchanted Rock in the Texas Hill Country. My favorite part of Texas.

First stop was Green's Sausage House!

My daughter used my 24 to handle her lunch.

:thumbup: I was there Friday with my wife, my son, my wife's oldest daughter, son-in-law and two grandkids. My son lives in Austin and the others in the mountains outside of Denver. My son and I had the sausage plate since it's on the menu Fridays and Saturdays. Apparently the sausage burger made an impression on the Coloradans because she had one with onion rings and he had a double meat sausage burger with rings. The kids had corn dogs and my wife just had a burger.

Also came home with 9 pounds of bacon packed in 1.5 lb packages, a dozen sausage and cheese kolaches, and a dozen mixed fruit kolaches....

I had Green's ship some dried stix and dried sausage to the last gathering since I couldn't make it. Hopefully this spring I can bring some in person...

I suppose I should check out Enchanted Rock... Lived here 10 years and never been there.
