That's sick tw. Really nice looking blade.

Like I was saying, we went to the cabin for the first time in a month and a half, and the first visit of the new year. Weather didn't cooperate, so I really didn't get a chance to get out with the sharp things. Rained pretty much the entire time we were there.

We got there Friday evening. Was pouring down, so we watched "Donnie Brasco" on one of my MP4 players, haha:

Saturday morning. Still raining. You can see the water cascading:

Cleared up for a moment, so we decided to walk down to the river to take a few photos:

You can see the water going down the lane. You could hear it from the cabin:

River was flooded:

Little white speck toward the top is my cabin. The camper owners own the bottoms, but let some of the locals use it. I have yet to meet them:

I thought the mist in the trees looked pretty cool:

The Two Dog stove kept us toasty warm:

And also came in handy for supper Saturday evening, haha. An outside fire is always a big event there, and we couldn't for the rain, but it didn't stop us from having dogs over the fire:

Dogs, cole slaw, and my usual Pepsi:

And vaseline will be used for more than firestarting.

I have been thinking about sampling some cigars. Any suggestions for new smokers?

maybe start with something mild. Try a Montecristo.

I hope you get more reps out of hard liquor.
Ummmmmm... Not really! I usually get a night out of a growler.

Try watching it with your Grandpa who just happens to think it's just another Western.
Ummmm... If that is what your grandpa is used to the cowboys doing, you might want to avoid watching westerns with him at all!

Look's like you'll have to go with Cbear's method of liquor inside yours!
See if the bartender will fill your growler with hard liquor... Since the beer is illegal.

Rocky Patels are quite fantastic as well.

The cabin time looks wonderful, Warrior! With -60 wind chills hitting us tonight, I imagine it'll be a while before I'm out to much.

devastating news: just found out that brewers won't fill a 64 oz growler as it is illegal in the state of Florida. This sucks!!! I need a 32 oz Beckerhead growler :grumpy:

Simple solution - get a 32 oz. growler.

Go inside and buy 32 oz.
Go out to the car.
Pour the beer into the 64 oz. Beckerhead growler.
Go back inside and buy a second 32 oz. worth.
Go back outside and pour that second 32 oz. into the Beckerhead 64 oz.
Go back inside again and fill the 32 oz'er again.
Now you have 96 oz. of goodness.

You're welcome. :D

That sucks, I havent thought about it until now.....But Florida doesnt sell 40oz beers either. So the 64oz thing makes sense... Well it doesnt make any sense at all really... but its easy to believe. LOL

I guess my beckerhead growler will be used for crown and pepsi, long island ice teas, and other mixes once i move.

Thanks man. It was fun, but I was looking forward to some steel time. -60°, DAMN!

I've been sidelined for over a year and a half but finally got to take a little trip with my wife and daughter. We decided to make it a day trip to Enchanted Rock in the Texas Hill Country. My favorite part of Texas.

First stop was Green's Sausage House!

My daughter used my 24 to handle her lunch.

Next stop was Enchanted Rock!
I knew it was going to be a tough climb. I haven't been able to do anything like this in a long long time.
About half way up we needed a break so time for a couple of pics.

Pics from the top!

And of course the 24

I'm a little sore this morning but really excited about our next trip. My wife's already on board with it.
