What pack is that murph?

Going fishing as soon as the sun comes up. Hoping to have a couple walleye for lunch today!! Its supposed to be really nice here for the next few days, so I'm going to be a fishing fool.

What pack is that Murph?

It's a GoRuck GR1. Pretty solid construction as far as I can tell. I'll get out with it soon for at least 5 or 6 miles. Good luck with the fishin' AC!

Good luck with the fishing AC. Wish i could go with ya brother.

Morning everyone.

Time to punch another kitten.

That sucks Spike! hope it turns up bud!

Thanks, I finally found it, after tearing the while house apart. It was really starting to worry me, it's by far my favorite folder, but it would be difficult to replace because it's been discontinued for awhile

I've been in 12 to 46 feet of water and so far nothing. I did just lose one though, so I'm gonna give this spot a bit more time. Pretty sure it was a northern that I lost and I usually don't fish for them, but I'd be happy to catch anything right now.

Sittin here day after surgery, cant wait for my strop to get here so I can have somethin to do.

That will be me next week! Got injections in the knees again yesterday, doc told me he wants to scope one of them next Thursday. Fun times!

I know some truly fantastic nurses. Some though, holy fricking dumbasses! The chick today asked me what nationality the patient is that she needs an interpreter.

Saw this on CS's website as a new for 2015 product. I honestly think I kinda like this thing.... Solid piece, 52100 steel, 58-59 RC... Something about it is pretty neat, must be how ridiculously simple it is. Reminds me a lot of the old carbon and chromed, aluminum handled blades, or almost like an old forged wrench/tool or something. Kinda neat/interesting.

Does look interesting. Be nice if the handle was cut out for wrapping with 550 cord.

Yah, it could benefit from that, either way it's still a good candidate for it. Even something like a bicycle tube or what not. Will be interested to see this one come out.

Or even a couple holes, so you could wrap it securely or even put scales on it if you were so inclined. It's a good blade design but I'm not generally a big fan of bare steel handles. It's nice to see CS using some better steels like 3V and 52100, though... *shrug*

As much as I keep trying to deny myself a Becker field bag, I think I'll end up buying one. The warden loves hers. I think I carry too much daily to make one practical.

They look so dang handy, but a messenger style bag would make me look like a student

How we doing today, folks? I tell you what, corporate training seminars are an absolute blast...

Do it to it....

My pack arrived! The guy said it was used, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how. It even smells new. Maybe he used it to smuggle soap into India.

Sweet ass pack, Murph. I'm still pretty stoked that my long awaited MAP 3500 came in. Between that and my new EDC pack, I'm good to go.... That is until I decide I really want a Becker Field Bag, MR Tri-zip, or so on and so forth.
