I got 'em too late to start shipping today, but tomorrow they will be starting to go out. You should receive an email or two when yours ships.
I finally had a chance to sit down and look it over, and I am really very favorably impressed!

Well, what could you expect when Charlie Campagna and Bill Howard put their heads together. Seriously guys, we are blessed to have these gentlemen on our side, not to mention the fine artwork delivered by Liam Strain on the label. A great big "thank you!" goes out to you guys and everyone that helped put this project together!!!! This is a home-run and sure to be a BF classic.

OK, so back to the knife itself; it opens on a cam so there are no half stops (rounded tang). The action pull is around a five, and maybe a little stiffer on the super sharp punch blade. The master blade opens with resistance to about a third of the way, and then you can push the tang to open the rest of the way as it snaps open, and the action is quite brisk. The spring is fairly massive for the size of the knife thanks to catch-bits in both ends, also allowing the blade to be very thin and slicy. The spear is very nicely proportioned and sharp at the point. Haven't checked overall out-of-the-box sharpness, as I always put a new bevel on my knives before use, but I'm pretty sure they are sharp! So, as I was saying, after starting the master blade, you can push it open with your thumb on the tang, and you can easily close the blade with one hand; a nice feature. Care must be taken closing the punch, lest you punch yourself in the finger! ( should be a good blade for lancing blood blisters tho...)
Besides drilling holes in leather for on-the-spot repairs, the punch is handy for glue tubes, striking a spark on a firesteel, picking splinters, etc, etc. Once you have one for awhile you'll wonder why you neglected this fine blade for so long!

The covers are outstanding on the two examples I opened. The worm groove really gives it character and the color is superb. My two have some variation in both the hand-done worm groove and dye color; I can't speak for the other 348 examples. Only one second and that one is claimed by Campbellclanman

, the rest are first quality.
There is no etch on the mark side of the master blade and it has the Bladeforums mark and four dots for 2016. On the reverse there is the famous "PPP" etch marking the knife as the first ones produced in the 35 pattern. Size wise, the knife is about as good as you can get, as it is thin at slightly less than 1/2 inch and still robust, and lengthwise very pocketable.:thumbup:
OK, I'm done 'cause I've got a lot to do tomorrow. You guys will have to man the revues from here on out!!!
