I definitely could of got it wrong but I could of sworn I read that they both will have the Bar Shield the only difference being one has rounded corners and the other has square.

Agreed. Good things come to those who wait. I'm still glad I ordered early. Hopefully it was early enough for the initial shipment.

That makes sense too I never thought of it that way. Ether way Im sure there both beautiful knives. Can't wait to get them both in hand and see witch one Ill like the best. I can't see beating the jigged bone covers to be honest but you never know right lol.

The bar shield has square corners on the BF knife with the Worm groove / Indian Trail scales.

The bar shield has round corners on CC's SFO with Ebony scales. To keep the wood from chipping.

Kind of wondering if they may have made some extra models while tooling was in place and set up. Models that might come out sayyy...around X-mas? Maybe some of the variations people have been mentioned: stockman, scout, or more of the same?
Not trying to be nosey, but I wonder if Charlie might have negotiated a waiting period before we'll see more , or if GEC might wait and use this as a research release to gauge interest. I suppose that's silly, just because as a company like theirs, you'd have to pay attention to how fast certain products, certainly new ones, sell. Anyone know who's not a business man

Awsome! Great looking knife for sure, I imagine it carries and performs just as well! I've been sitting on my mailbox since midnight, the knife fairy hasn't delivered it yet, but I did scare the mailman!
