2016 GEC Rendevous Dates

Man, and I thought it would be a run of #45's which are on the cover today, and were now where to be seen in the "what's going on pics". Muscle Man Bone............

EDIT: The knife they were making was the #45. Looked really great, especially the two blade.

This was Casey's first time at GEC. She isn't as interested in knives as me or anyone on here, but she said the tour and process was really interesting, and I think she appreciated getting to see some of Sarah's awesome collection.

I'm really looking forward to having more time next year and getting to know more people and learn more about everyone's awesome knives. It's always a good time.

Day 2. Can't wait for more updates. It's kind of like being there, sort of. I wonder if the sound of new folders opening and closing replaced the sound of crickets in Titusville last night. :D

C'mon friends, we need more updates :). Did GEC have the lumberjacks available on day 2? How bout a pic of Charlie's for sale table?....

Reception is awful, pics to come upon return. Met a lot of good people, thats for sure

Got #47 of the rendezvous 2nd to last this morning. Bought an 09 toothpick. As for rendezvous part knives the two eureka jacks on maroon linen the bare end is all steel, they had some rosewood eureka that sold the first day. Today there were just a few guys, I would say everyone was catching up on sleep from the previous early two days. Got to meet Lyle finally and see his awesome collection of farmer jacks. All in all a good time.

Will do an update when get home but so far has been great!
The parts knives,Eureka Jack and the Roughneck are wonderful knives, never thought would like a knife like the Roughneck but when you actually get one in hand it is something else. Ended up buying both the single and 2 blade.
One of the best parts of the Rendezvous is meeting up with old friend and making new ones from the forum.

Great pics so far. Maybe one year I'll get out there to check this shindig out.

Jealous...

The thing about public events such as GEC's Rendezvous?

One never knows who might show up.
