2017 Spyderco Mid-Year Product Guide

One Eyed Jack grown on me and most likely I will get it.
I am waiting Shaman for a long time. On the picture it looks even better that I thought. Blade, scales look great. I hope that the knife will feel great in the hand as well. Almost dream knife. I hope that grind will be not thicker than Native. So far I can see quite a bit of excitement here and on Spyderco Forum, hopefully will see sprints. A lot of sprints. :p

I bet it's bad enough that I won't be able to grab an S90V Para 3. What do you think, $400?
I wouldn't be surprised. It'll be bigger than the full size warrior (and probably more limited too) and iirc that had a street value around $300.

Funny thing is, I was thinking to myself that if I had to drop something from my wishlist for budgetary reasons it would be the S90V Para 3.

I am interested to see the price on the Silverax. It doesn't really matter, as I will get one no matter what, but I would like to see it around $150.

I haven't yet seen a Spyderco fixed blade with a street price over $300, but this would also be in the new category of super limited knives, and it's twice as big as most of the other fixed blades. I'm hoping for $325-$350, but there's not really much to compare it against.

I'm guessing $350 minimum. The flash batch knives are new designs which require new tooling costs. As you said, its a big knife for Spyderco. Should be interesting to see how fast it sells.

I'd like to see it around $150 too but that might be wishful thinking. The Ouroboros is $174 and I'm guessing the Sliverax will sell for more. Hope I'm wrong!

Pricing certainly will depend on where its made.

Kind of what I'm thinking too. Which is fine by me. Spyderco keeps coming out with great designs, and the Sliverax looks like they custom made it to be my perfect EDC! I would love some sprint runs one day with different steels. I would be all over some CPM 154 or CTS-XHP.

So many good things
I am surprised there is no Pacific salt 2 coming along the salt 2

Good point! The Sliverax is being made in Taichung whereas the Ouroboros is Japan. The price of some of the Japanese models have been a bit on the high side so, hopefully, the price of the Sliverax will be more reasonable.

Looks like jstn's will get his price. National Knives has the Sliverax listed at $149.97

Nice! That puts my total bill right around $300. Unless I can't resist the One Eyed Jack.

Nice find! What surprises me is that National has the Shaman at the same price. Given that they're very similar in size and materials, but one's a collaboration piece and the other is in-house, I'd expect the collab to sell for more. Hope Paul Alexander is getting his cut :p

Would the Para3 S90V have any benefits over the blurple S110V Para3?

If you prefer carbon fiber over Blurple G10 that could be a benefit. Otherwise, from everything I've read, S90V & S110V are pretty close. I know I have one knife with S90V and a couple with S110V and I can't really tell if there's a difference between the two.

$389.97 seems to be street on the preorder pages.

S90V Para 3 Sprint at $191.97.
