2019 BUCK Forum Knife

I like the look of the traditional fixed blade Buck like the 119, 124. It just seems to have the form that fits and feels like a part of my hand when using them. But most of the time I don’t need that much blade so I just got a 117 cocobolo and brass with 420hc and I really like it. Just the right size! I was hoping to find one with s35vn or s30v but doesn’t seem to be any but 420hc. The 118 is the same size with a bit more elongated clip tip and that might be a good build with upgrade steel and Micarta in a burgundy or mahogany color. Brass or nickel would look nice on the palmel and guard. I haven’t had a chance to hold the 212 in hand but they do look nice I’m just not sure about the blade length it looks short and stubby in pictures I’ve seen.

A 112 would be the bees knees.

*edit

102 not 112, sorry.

I think we've decided on 3 models to vote from, all fixed blades. We wanted to choose some models that are doing well. The last time we did the 112, we designed a cool knife here, but it sat on my shelves for ages. 112 is fun, but not super cost effective when a nicer model is built. The 101 is not doing as well I'd like to see, though I was intrigued by it. I'm headed over to set up the first poll now!

Steve, I wish you'd try to pre sale the 124. It's about the least produce le knife and I think it'd sell.

I someone gave me a 104 I'd find someone else to give it to.

I only wish the 124 was selling as well as the other 3 knives we chose for the polling. It's cool, but it's not a very hot item.

It has to be Sambar Stag to get my money. Or smooth bone like the Bass Pro knives. They are the only sets I’m still working on.
