Well I suppose I better get in here. I've been lurking and marinating throughout this entire poll, soaking in the myriad perspectives, opinions, pics of beautiful knives, and the great banter. I came into this poll wanting to fill the void of not having an ironwood handled knife (if I couldn't get one handled in Koa). However, this knife, in my opinion, needs to be in African Blackwood with polished metal. As much as I'm wanting Ironwood, I'm not feeling it here.

Yes. I agree. I don’t have an ironwood knife and I always wanted one. But this design will not work well with ironwood.

Now that Sheepfoot that Taylor posted is super nice in ironwood. After all this settles I’m going to look for one of those.

Yeah well there's a flaw in that....Cheesburgers?? Barf! You know with kids what comes in goes out pretty quickly as well, often both ends :eek::D:D Good luck with that weight gain;) Relative density of Ironwood must be much greater:cool:
 
I'm with you on finding another knife. I really don't plan on using this one. I might, but not planning on it. An Ironwood knife I'm going to want to use. Perhaps it's time to contact Mr. Glennbad and pluck one from my Electrician collection to have re-handled. Been meaning to do that anyway.
