if vote switching was not allowed the discussion would become meaningless, and the voting would likely happen at the last minute.

i think this model allows constructive discussion and thoughtful voting.

right now i am considering switching from IW to AB, because of the discussion......

this knife will be awesome no matter how the votes go, im just sad it wont be jobillo wood and a custom polar bear shield.
