For the majority. I think the polished bolsters might have been important for a few. I certainly prefer them.
Well, I only lost 3.5 of the polls! Not bad.

It's all good! Got a sweet knife design and I can say hey look at my reproduction of a classic! I'm ready for this dang thing to get in my hands. Gonna be a cool knife to cart around. I'm gonna brush the bolsters though...

I totality would have voted for coco or blood wood with polished. But I couldn’t vote for unpolished wood and satin metal.

Ultimately I decided to go blackwood because the shield that was obviously going to win looked better on that to my eye and because the polished bolsters look much better than the brushed, especially with the northfield lined bolsters. I would have much preferred bloodwood or kingwood, or really any wood with more obvious grain and polished bolsters.

Oh well, it shall be a beauty I'm sure. Hopefully nickel pins become a possibility but I'm not holding my breath.

I'd say if there's anything we've learned from this year's poll, it's that you should NOT be able to switch your vote. Wait as long as you like, but once it's in, it's in and done.

Why on earth would that make any difference? I just don't see it.
