Attention 2019 Forum knife question thread.

I'm game, after all I do like black molasses the darker the better lol. I know other southerners who who dont like it as strong. A homemade cathead biscuit and real butter and a big spoonfull of blackstrap molasses View attachment 1237351knife content, should arrive tomorrow, gonna be a Christmas present for my Dad, who's a mechanic

Growing up in central Arkansas we would put a big hunk of butter on a plate and pour molasses over it and mash both up with a fork until mixed and then dollop it on a biscuit half... excellent eatn.

This reminds me of the time I got my sister to eat a chiltepin pepper (similar to chile pequin and native to south Texas), telling her it was candy.

I made a big ole batch of homemade biscuits then morning, then fried them up instead of baking. Served with warm butter and homemade muscadine jelly. I used my 86 to cut them, if that counts? Not forum knife but the closest I have. Patiently waiting!

Does anyone (@knifeswapper ?) know if these will come from CK knives or directly from GEC? And will they ship USPS or some other method?

You must be a really heavy sleeper. ' Cause cockatoos make a piercing screeching sound that would wake the dead, and you also must be very handy with the tools, they will pull a timber house to pieces.

I was hoping GEC would make the #86 natural micarta knives before the other Tidioute knives. And the #86 Cooter shell acrylic before the other Northfields. Looks like 5 #86 knives this month. And I will try for some more in December. I will buy the camel bone #62 Easy Congress in January. Saving my money for club/forum memberships and the wonderful GEC Trapper knives coming up in 2020. I am going to enjoy my 2019 Forum Knife. A 2020 Forum Trapper with a liner lock sounds great to me !

I only live 25 miles from the GEC factory. Anyone think I should go take a "factory tour" on Monday and snap a few photos to see how far along they are?

Sure, if they allow photos. If not, you'll have to do the court reporter thing and draw us some pictures.

Mate, you talk of "hillbillyisms". I have no idea if you like music or what sort of music, but last night i discovered on youtube 2 classics if you like "Rockabilly". Type in Kitty,Daisy and Lewis, and they do a great version of the Canned Heat song, Going Up The Country. I cannot believe i have never heard of this family band before. The other one is Lil'Camille & The Rattletones. You have a good week mate, and hope some of your knives arrive.

Hiya bud, I've had a friend reliably telling me it may still be possible to put my name down for a 2019 BF 86! I'd love to be able to get my hands on one, Is this true, what I've been told or not?
