Hiya bud, I've had a friend reliably telling me it may still be possible to put my name down for a 2019 BF 86! I'd love to be able to get my hands on one, Is this true, what I've been told or not?

All the knives are spoken for.

Pictures of the blades now on GEC's site:thumbsup: Think I should have got one :( Sigho_O

That is a frequent feeling after the fact. I felt that way two years ago. Best not to look back or simply decide to wait for one on the Exchange. You could get one of the other 86's. The best approach is simply to get every one at issue time and not worry about it. This assumes that the price is within your budget at the time and so forth. But if you are actively buying knives, putting together the funds should not be difficult for most. For me, the Traditional Forum knife is mostly about fun as I am not a collector and I certainly don't "need" more knives at this point.

I also have come to just buy it. I missed many because they aren’t my cup of tea that I now regret. Worst case, I can sell it for what i paid for it.

This one isn’t really a blade shape I like to carry. If I come to like it, great. If not? It’ll either just be a part of my collection or make someone really happy to get one later on when I make the decision.

The great thing about this blackwood is its uniformity across the run....which means no one will be able to winge about not having enough grain or too stripey or not enough figuring or his is better than mine.......
Mines gonna be so black even the white bits will be black.
I agree. I don't own a GEC done in Blackwood, so this will be a welcomed addition.

Sounds like a challenge. I wouldn't underestimate our ability to winge.
