Not that it matters to me in the end, just glad to be getting one.

Smooth Autumn Banana ;)

I just bought the #92 elderberry Eureka bone from one of the GEC dealers. That was 3/4 hours ago . I wish I could tell you which one , but forum rules say no, no ! There is still one left for sale in Georgia. Gone minutes ago ,10:30 am. All were before 24 hours. The OD green micarta #92s should be easier to obtain.

Does anyone know if all the 92’s on this drop are going to be in an English jack configuration? Not that’s it’s a complete deal breaker, but I really prefer both nicks on the show side.

rotten banana camel? Say that 5 times, fast....:D
Definitely looks like a cross between the two
Interesting covers to say the least.
Might have to pass on this one to;)
Looks more like rotten banana wood :D
Also looks like it couldn’t decide what it wanted to be kind of how I feel about it. I like it but I don’t all in one word lol. I don’t think they should of used the same rotten banana bone dye . At least it sure looks like they did.

For me, the yellow on the eurekas looks darker than banana. Not a prophet, but I think they will turn out very nice after polishing.

I agree with you there. Often the before & after photos of bone handles are dramatically different.:D I'm banking on them being dramatically awesome of course. :)

When the production schedule was first released I questioned what color when there was no TBD next to Camel Bone so maybe it will just be called Camel Bone.
Camels can have a light to dark mixture of tan to brown, who knows I'm just throwing this out there, but they sure do look good with the right mix.

I snagged a 92 elderberry from a dealer. I consider myself lucky.

I think the 92 camel bone is looking really unique.

Can’t wait to see the jigged calico bone pics!

Just curious, since the Tools For Gents #92 is an SFO it'll require some kind of company logo etched on the main?

Hey folks, first glimpse of the calico jigged bone was posted on GEC’s website today under “what’s happening”.

The jigging looks deep. The color is pretty dark but I’m sure they will buff and polish out real nice.

The Calico jigged bone has a lot of potential. I do like the deep jigging. View attachment 1198861
I still haven't figured out the protocols for SFO's etc.... Say, for example, a company places an SFO, perhaps in calico jigged bone, and takes pre-orders for them. Once the pre-orders are "closed", when the knives drop, will there be any "extra" knives for the slow or unfortunate, or does that company take preorders for exactly the number of knives ordered?

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I would like to have a calico bone knife, if any will be available... am I looking for "pie in the sky" ?

Here is my understanding - the highest quantity a dealer can order for an SFO is 500 pieces. If you use the recent 77 SFO for CK as an example, there were 4 cover choices offered which means that there are approximately 125 of each cover type. Those get reserved/pre-ordered almost immediately so there are no extras that are going to show up on the CK website. However there are some dealers who order SFOs and do not take pre-orders so once those drop the free for all begins until they are all gone. If I am wrong someone will correct me. I hope this helps at least a bit.

Thanks... that is what I suspected. It's not a huge deal, since I found the elderberry, but other covers are interesting, as well.

Was the Calico 92 a reservation/pre-order?...dang, I must have missed that
