The OCD part of my psyche sure wants one. If they're still available after I receive my Forum knife I may bite. I also kind of want to wait and see what's coming up after the 86s.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
That's in some ways worse, I mean Canada is only a land border away from the USAAt least my stuff has to cross the Atlantic Ocean and go through 2 or 3 other EU countries first.
Anyway got it today at lastHope to take pix tomorrow. The backspring is a work of art in itself, so smooth and polished-better than a CASE/Bose in that way I have to say. Grand W&T too. Beginning to want a Camel now but only a light colour one .
About the Stag on this run. Some really eye catching examples, many are thick too which is no bad thing on a 2 spring Jack knife, makes handling a lot more pleasant and the Eureka is one of the few patterns that I find better looking without a shield on StagRather hoping GEC might do a Christmas offshoot of these by putting out a run of single blade Talons to compliment their Eureka cousins
Well, we need some hope in life

Here's the stag I ended up with ... All the 92's are great. Surprising to me, I'm leaning towards the green canvas micarta as my favorite.

I got these three and told myself I’d wait to see them all together before I picked one to keep. It’s so hard to decide. I think I’m leaning toward the elderberry or the stag.

Fantastic Stag, Dylan! One of the best I have seen come out of this batch and there have been many good ones. It looks to be not overly thick from this view. I'm partial to thin Stag and that one is beautiful all the way from end to end and side to side. Can't wait to see the other side. Congrats.A couple of shots from today. This Stag is something else. One of the unique pleasures of such a material, no two are alike.
