Living in Canada I can honestly say I hear ya Will. o_O

Holy Smokes that's some beautiful stag. Those handles are shaped as good as any I've ever seen. :)

Thanks! It is a looker, for sure. I just know I don't want to keep both it and the micarta, so the choice will be difficult!

Well just pulled mine out of tube and I like it. Asked for some popcorn stag If possible but I realize all requests can’t be answered. With that being said considering I bought it blind I think it’s a different flavor of stag I would of picked.

You were next to last on a long list where everyone puts "popcorn" in the order notes :D
But I really like the darker shades of stag that came in this run.

Got the first stag knife I've ever ordered and its almost too perfect! I went into it totally blind with no request on the order and got this great example of stag. GEC did a great job on these knives and the fit and finish is awesome on both of mine.
Thanks GEC and knifeswapper27950.jpeg 27944.jpeg 27948.jpeg 27946.jpeg

I appreciate all that you do Mike and I can only imagine all the requests.
I also appreciate your second to none packaging it’s a nice touch with the wrap on the box  It just shows the extra mile you go and thanks for the fast shipping as usual :)

My shrink wrapper started muttering words under her breath a few months ago. All I could really make out was "workman's comp" as she rubbed her elbow and grimaced (before I cracked my Indiana Jones whip in the air). So, my first equipment upgrade in years has been getting tuned over the last several weeks - a heat tunnel to do 90% of the shrinking. Sadly it took up 90% of my workspace as well....

Those darn shrink wrappers can’t live with them and can’t live without them:D

I was looking for a light stag and lucked out. I really like it, although I've seen at least a dozen posted various places that are sweet. This one's nice and thick!

Those sides are very nicely matched!

Couldn’t agree more !
Did you ever figure out how deep the fissures/cracks were ? Such beautiful Stag it would be a shame .

That's in some ways worse, I mean Canada is only a land border away from the USA:eek: At least my stuff has to cross the Atlantic Ocean and go through 2 or 3 other EU countries first.

Anyway got it today at last:cool: Hope to take pix tomorrow. The backspring is a work of art in itself, so smooth and polished-better than a CASE/Bose in that way I have to say. Grand W&T too. Beginning to want a Camel now but only a light colour one .

About the Stag on this run. Some really eye catching examples, many are thick too which is no bad thing on a 2 spring Jack knife, makes handling a lot more pleasant and the Eureka is one of the few patterns that I find better looking without a shield on Stag;) Rather hoping GEC might do a Christmas offshoot of these by putting out a run of single blade Talons to compliment their Eureka cousins:thumbsup: Well, we need some hope in life :D
