This for gutting, removing heads and cleaning:

And this for filleting, a nice little flexible blade. I usually do that part in the kitchen at home.. :

So today I went to the tackle shop and got a fishing license, got a few tips on fishing in our region, some worms etc.
We just came back from the river... remember the thread here titled "Big Bro, lil bro" LOL :)
Well ...here is another example :D , except in fish .
We got a little tiny perch and a very nice walleye ( people here also called it pickerel)
Legally the walleye has to be between 40 and 50 cm if you intend to keep it ... ours was 48 cm :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Despite my crude filleting skills we got two very nice fillets for tomorrow's lunch

My Cocobolo Ram was only in the pic to supervise the work but did not touch the fish :) ... he will get to taste it once cooked :)

I agree Travman Travman , the Lambsfoot is righteous, but the Ramsfoot is not far behind! These are the three 93’s that I ended up keeping from this epic run.

This is my first Northwoods. I have not been a big fan of the brand until now. However, the 93 pattern suits the Northwoods aesthetic perfectly. I can see how some would think the Signal Jack is the best of the run, but, to me, the prize has to go to the Black Sheep.

Thank Charlie waynorth waynorth for pushing so hard to get this knife produced, and all his design influence that went into the production of such a beautiful piece of pocket cutlery.:thumbsup:

Thank Great Eastern Cutlery for their excellent execution of the Lambsfoot design. I think they must have payed special attention during the manufacturing process because these knives are made perfectly.:thumbsup:

Thank ED @Modoc ED for generously gifting me this knife. It is an act of kindness and generosity that I think about daily as I rummage through my knife drawer.:thumbsup:

They did!!! GEC dug deep to make this run of knives superb! I only found one flaw in 500 knives!! The walk and talk is wonderful, IMO. I am enjoying using one immensely!!
My thanks to Bill and his team!!! Could he be making the best production pocketknife in the world right now??? They get my vote!!!

I can't help but wonder what kind of interesting parts knives might come out of the Rendezvous next weekend.

Perhaps some very limited Lambs and Rams!
