I did not think you could wait my friend . You did get one with some pretty nice grain . Your TRIO ??? looks pretty nice too Ron . I hope to see it in Titusville too .I was trying to hold off until I got to the Rendezvous! But I was able to add this Northfield Cocobolo from a gracious forum member!
I think it compliments my Waynorth Lambsfoots quite well!

Thanks a lot!Beautiful grain on that Cocobolo!
For sure totally understand but the type of slip , leather and how it fits makes a huge difference. Seems softer leather and if it was broke in with a different knife can make for a loose fit . Fortunately my Beard&Owl slip fits like a glove and you can tip it upside down and give it a little shake and my LambFoot doesn’t slide outI was using a slip (ksf) with mine for a week or two. I liked the protection aspect, but it loosened up in the slip to the point where I was more worried about accidentally tilting the slip and the knife sliding out and taking a tumble. So it's now riding loose with my keys, and I feel so much more secure that it won't get unintentionally damaged. Go figure.
That looks like a great slip for sure! And a good looking lamb! I have the jigged version, love it completely! I generally end up tossing all mine in my pocket loose after a while, so it was just a matter of time anyway! Congrats on getting that great knife, I'm sure you'll love it!For sure totally understand but the type of slip , leather and how it fits makes a huge difference. So True and when holding it in my hand that deep black and feel in hand puts me in a tranceBill outdid himself when he chose the Ebony for those knives!! A rich black you seldom see!!
