2019 GEC Pemberton Thread

I decided to patina my 06 by submerging in unboiled vinegar for 30+ minutes and sticking into an apple for 5 minutes. I'm still unsure whether I love or hate the result o_O.

Thoughts?

I little Flitz between forced patina process will eventually get it to a nice gray. My 77 achieved a nice gray through several natural & forced patina’s with light Flitz between.

I'll keep this in mind in my next patina project. Thanks!

Resurrecting an old thread but I wanted to show off mine.

Just received this nice single blade blue bone user ( Thanks to member Knifensupply). Gave it a quick edge touch up and proceded to cut up some strawberries and an apple. It made a nice start on a patina then it went right into my watch pocket.

I like this one; Nice color and I actually like the "Birds in Flight" jigging. I was afraid it may be slick but the jigging has a nice amount of grip to it.

I sort of wish I had kept one of my stag pembertons... they are an excellent watch pocket knife... that blue one is very nice. I don't remember that jigging, though... I thought the blues were more of a traditional type of jig pattern.
