2019 GEC Pemberton Thread

I feel the bolsters and choice of covers goes very well with the Templar theme, but the only part of it that appeals to my wallet is the clip blade. Ditto what Mike said, YMMV...

What a beautiful collection of Pemberton’s !! You picked a great run to collect . My single blade Smooth white bone is one of nicest GEC’s I’ve ever owned in all areas .

Thanks my Friend...…… At first I wasn't going after the whole she-bang, but once I got going I didn't have the brains to stop...….. You know the disease that I'm suffering from, I'm sure!!
 
Got mine the other day, a Templar. Wasn't sure about it, but carrying it some, it's growing on me. May give it to the wife, she likes it too.

I agree with you, Dylan. Usually don't have an interest in acrylic, but it's not vad at all, and goes ok with the knife. But I do so love any organic material much more so.

Ha!!…… I'm also missing the wrong bolster mixup on a few knives.... I believe unlined bolsters got put on a few Northfields if I recall correctly??…… Right now my wallet has to take a breather...…. Down the road I might go after the odd ducks that I missed.... It was a very nice run with many variants to keep things interesting !!
 
Well I ended up with a bone (courtesy of a lovely BF member) and it is truly beautiful, top-notch craftsmanship. I am smitten.

The only thing I don't love about it is actually the Northfield trademark etching on the blade. Has anyone removed the trademark from one of their pieces? I'm imagining some Flitz and whole lot of elbow grease followed by polishing would do the job, but not sure how deep the etch is.

Now my only problem is I'm really still eyeing the stag and micarta :eek:

Some Flitz or any polish (or actual use) will take the etch off.
 
I finally got the last of the 06 Pemberton 2019 series..... LH side from top; #'s 1-4 are single blades, #'s 5&6 are polished blade Templars, #7 is the oddball satin blade Templar...…. On the RH side #'s 1-4 are two blade models, #5 is the oddball 2 blade White bone with a smooth main bolster...…. The Blue bone in the lower right is a single blade extra I acquired.... I think that is all of them...…. If anyone knows of something I missed Pls let me know...….knife case.jpg
