2020 GEC #33 Conductor Thread

I think this is the GEC I have been hoping for. It rides unobtrusively in a pocket, is a good, reasonably hand-filling size (admittedly I have smaller hands) and has a versatile clip blade that’s a great length for almost everything day-to-day. It’s a pretty knife, with great fit and finish, and a unique, classically elegant pattern.

I am very happy with this 33 run. I am always cautious, yet optimistic, when GEC does a smaller pattern but this one did not disappoint.

Both versions are absolutely stellar. Awesome Stag, excellent jigged bone, smooth operation, and impeccable finish - these are keepers, for sure.

I’d say you’ve got the jackpot right there. On both counts. Coloring near the bolsters is a similar shade of amber on each. Nice!

You guys and your beautiful pics!;)

I wasn’t able to get a stag 33, so when I saw a stag 12 I scooped it up. Then I tried to get the 33 again, failed miserably but saw a stag 62 and scooped that up. Then I caved and went to the Bay for the 33.

Long story short, stag 12, 62, and 33 inbounds. This hobby of ours! o_O

Im hankering for a new knife today. I scoured the bay but nothing really appealed to me at the current secondhand pricing. Its just one of those days where I got 150 or so to burn but the pickins are too slim for my tastes. Patience is a virtue I dont posess!

My #33 will be back in my pocket on Monday.
I have a feeling it will become a constant companion while at work.
They do look like a great "pocket knife". Great that you could secure one, i am sure you will enjoy it. You have a good week.:);)
