2020 GEC #74 Mustang Thread

Looks like the 74 ironwood will have a bomb shield, going to look amazing.

This seems like a lot of variation, it’ll be exciting to see photos once they get in hands. I feel lucky to have one on hold.

I have a burlap micarta on the way! Missed the early reserves but had a quick trigger on an authorized dealer's notification e-mail just now.

I've sat out the previous 2020 releases because nothing caught my eye but stoked to snag one of these

Same here, only I was on standby for the Black Plum. I wonder if some folks changed their mind or Mike is getting more than he thought, either way, I was very surprised to see the invoice. I paid it so fast you would have thought it was a live drop!

Yes , 200 pieces of #74 four different choices will be made. I am hoping GEC has made extra parts for a GEC#74 Saddle Trapper run. GEC posted a #19 Little Rattler schedule for 12 to 20 hours , before they took it down. Then GEC put the #19 schedule back up a couple a days later. I believe GEC wants to get out some new knives out to the dealers. No new designs have been made this year. The #19s will be six different choices at 400 pieces each. After the #19s are finished , GEC might release some #74 Saddle Trappers at 200 pieces of each choice. Bill Howard does crazy things to keep us on our toes.

Yes Sir , He sent me one too. The price is what shocked me. I thought I was sent the wrong invoice. I thought that burlap Mustang #74 was going to cost much more that what I paid. I would rather have a GEC dealer over charge me a little bit , than a flipper get a dime. I am so happy and thankful.

I had originally been booked to get the stag and ironwood, but my dealer called and told me numbers were down so i had to choose. I chose stag, and am really feeling the pain now from that decision. I know i will love the stag, but these are incredible. Really was a hard choice for me. Hopefully the stag looks awesome!

I forgot GEC doesn't like to polish the bolsters on Ironwood. On the "magazine" cover they look satin. These are gorgeous knives, lots of figure in the wood.
