2020 OKCA Show

Hey it's been a few years since I've made it. Best place to book?
OKCA gives a link to the Valley River Inn. I've only been once and am not sure where everyone else stays. I pick something cheap and close to the event center but that's just me :)

I'm booked at the Fairfield Inn.

With the change in jobs I expect to actually make it this year after two years running being traveling for work.

Yeap, I've got my place booked and the kids are coming with me again. Fingers crossed that GEC does a OKCA knife this year!

But whether they do or not, it's going to be awesome. I was so pleasantly surprised at how great the trip was last year.

You can really book most any place in Eugene if you have a car. The venue has a good amount of free parking. I did not know this my first time and tried to book a place within walking distance. No need to worry about that. Plenty of parking. I went through AirB&B this year to find a place.

Awesome good to see a lot folks coming out this year and Duncan too! I'll be there Friday and Saturday night this time so I'll actually have time to hang out :)

Yes, there is a 2020 Club knife, a Northfield Trapper. I have already ordered mine. Health permitting, I am planning on picking it up at the show.

If GEC has to have their club knives done by April, the 23's must be next after all the 62's are out the door. Sound about right due to the larger volume of runs now, or will they have time to slip one more pattern in?

Looking forward to seeing everyone! Especially now that I am back in Eugene permanently :)
Would love to chat with you sometime about life in Eugene...there is a possibility we may relocate there at some point but I really don't know anyone who lives there who could offer some real insight

:eek::eek: Oh My, This might hurt a fellas wallet.
Especially if you get there Friday morning when all the real wheeling and dealing happens  I told myself last year that I would try to make that happen this time but will just have to see what's left on Saturday morning. It is probably for the best.

This is one show I would love to attend but it is not financially feasible like Blade is for many folks in the West Coast states. My next knife show will be a little one in Dalton GA where there has been many slip joints (old and new) the last few years that I have attended. I always end up spending way too much money there and then I question if I really want to attend Blade in Atlanta in June at all due to disposable funds availability.

It's a 13 hour drive from Montana for me. Been talking it over with my gf and I think we will make the trek. Plan is to leave Thursday after work, take a cat nap and be at the show friday morning :)

Looking forward to not having to type about knives in a conversation.

Does Blade Forums have sticker name badges we can wear and right or handle on it? Seems like a good advertisement for here and easy to find folks we converse with on here.
