Ditto me on that too. Just wish as has been mentioned that it’s unfortunate there are vendors that are now charging a premium for new drops compared with others ones. Can’t complain too much since it’s still less than fleabay.Just picked up a green 71 to go with my red one.
Got the green today. Pics compared with 2015 nifebrite version. The nifebrite scales feel different - slimmer, slightly more rounded…but that’s not to say the green linen is a square block. Both feel great, but I’m a little surprised at the palpable difference in feel in hand between the two versions is. For my hand I prefer the nifebrite. Others opinions will certainly differ.
The fit and finish on the green linen is exquisite. I know it’s advertised as a working knife, and it is - but there were no shortcuts on the construction of the knife. Flush back springs in all positions. No gaps. Solid action - maybe a 6-7 pull. Action is actually stronger on the green linen vs the 2015 nifebrite. Fantastic knives…

If you were to gift that great knife to a non knife person would they know what blade rap is? Maybe get them a case sodbuster.I had the chance to get a green via KSF drop today (and another chance at DLT a little later), but decided against it after my second experience with blade rap on my red linen. It was a challenge to watch them stay in stock for three or four minutes and not pull the trigger, but I wouldn't even be able to gift one of these if just closing it risks damaging the blade this way. How do I explain _that_ to a non-knife person?
Hoping I luck out with a pretty Bocote 83; maybe I'll luck into a stag.
They certainly used to be.they're affordable too.
