Did they say when we might expect them to be released?I saw the cayenne color in the Smkw video announcing the release.
I did to, I'm going to comment in every single video I can find with the Case rep talking about them.I dropped a question in the SMKW YouTube release video about CV options, but I'm not sure if there's any chance I'll get a response.
We should start to see some options on the market next month.Did they say when we might expect them to be released?
Thanks bunch! We should start to see some options on the market next month.
I know your dilemma, recently i had a knife sent from overseas, one i had been chasing for over 2 years, was delighted when i finally found one. 6 days to arrive here, then over 3 weeks of stress while it floated around in the system here, even then i had to drive and go and pick it up from the depot. Takes the fun out of purchasing. Take care over there.but the nosedive in service our PO has taken in 2 years guarantees stress
They are already listed on a site of a big dealer in TN. They show out of stock but they actually haven’t been in stock yet, prices are listed. Mark M mcc850 , Abalone is pricey.
The other thing I found interesting is that they have two or three of them described as having “carbon steel” instead of calling it “CV”. Anyone think this is a thing? Have they changed their steel or just what they call it?
It's still CV, but I've seen it listed as " classic carbon series " various places before. They are already listed on a site of a big dealer in TN. They show out of stock but they actually haven’t been in stock yet, prices are listed. Mark M mcc850 , Abalone is pricey.

Bummer on the abalone. I will just admire from here haha. They did a pilot test run with carbon on those micarta trappers. Maybe they are branching out a bit due to the popularity of GEC’s carbon steel. I wouldn’t be mad at it!They are already listed on a site of a big dealer in TN. I didn't even get the notification on that reply, I'm glad you saw it.According to the response thatHickory n steel got on YouTube from SMKW: "This year we have been informed Case will be expending their steel options and will be doing more in 1095 and CV as well"
I’m sure they will too. I like the red and grey bone in CV, and in the SS, the Micarta with the brushed bolsters and satin blade is hard to beat, but I’m ALWAYS looking for jigged Chestnut.I know Case will have a Billion other handle choices as they go along during the year.. So many choices..
John
I’m with you Ed. A single blade would be perfect for me to dress carry. If they'd (Case) just dump the stubby pen blade and replace it with a sheepfoot or perhaps a coping blade or just give a single clip blade option.
