Does GEC make any other comically large patterns like the 36 and 46?

I really enjoy these large patterns.

Well keep in mind there are/were other manufactures that produced the sunfish/elephant toe, and whalers in many configurations. You may enjoy some of those as well if you search them out.

If you haven't already checked them out... You should look into the Cooper Cutlery Weed&Co German Hunter. Those things have 4" blades, lol.

The 97 and 98s are pretty large patters.

Yeah, that German Hunter is massive, reminds me of Case xx coke bottle and the Schatt & Morgan granddaddy barlow.

First day in the regular rotation for this one.

I’m having a hard time deciding which one I want to keep. I really like the blood red jigged bone handles but I like the satin finish blade on the smooth white bone.

Whichever I decide to keep will become a user so I guess blade finish doesn’t matter too much at the end of the day. Hmm, I need to sleep on this. I really like the shield for the jigged bone as well, may just stick with that one, it’s also dead flush at half stop which I’ve never seen before in a GEC

I just noticed the speckles and blonde highlights in your coco… what a gem.

These 36’s were interesting but I wasnt biting. And then the cocobolo and the blood red bone appeared, and I jumped in without even thinking. The cocobolo is the backup and the blood red went right into rotation. Love these two knives.
