Shaffer Farms is an Elk and Venison farm in Central Pennsylvania...... I'll bet the knives will be fitted with Elk and Deer Stag from the farm.....

Another notice - OLD content coming up.... just wanted to share some pics of what GEC has done with barrels in the past.












Thought I'd post up a couple pics from last time GEC used barrel wood covers. If I remember correctly, this was awhile ago - so good chance I don't remember correctly.. these were called "beer barrel oak", but actually they were used for wine at one point.

Whittlers are one of my favorite patterns, and GEC makes them so well. Old barrel wood is a great cover, I have a Boker Congress Beer Barrel wood and it is a keeper
Definitely staying tuned and looking forward to this one!
