On the one hand, it is bery interesting, and even exciting. One the other hand, however, it doesn't feel quite right to abuse GEC's hospitality. I won't be surprised if they might consider to not to do any more tours. Or at least prohibit taking pictures in the work rooms from now on.

Oh man the only 79 in my collection is a Fremont Jack. I love the reverse sleeveboard pattern. So nice in the hand and allows for an extra sturdy main blade.

Last time it got brought up there was a fiasco and I want to avoid that. There is a group on a social media platform dedicated to GEC and members post pictures when they visit to see what’s coming down the line sometimes. A nice gentleman posted the pictures above as well as a few others and you could see what appears to my eyes to be an 81/82 frame!

Ruhiger Sturm , here is the other photo showing what appears to be 81 liners.

Let'er Buck , do you still think these are 82’s? To my eye the square ends look like an 81. I am betting on a 81 Coon Skinner with old oil barrel wood covers.
