Truly epic.I'm not even close to certain of this. The 77 run was epic, especially with the covers that Mike provided. Many people love the 36. Not to mention we have no idea the 14s and 65s will be.
Same. The 77 in olive for me. The provenance does it.
Yes I was in shock to which also slowed me down on pulling the trigger. I felt much better with the outcome no doubt .I cannot stand how that particular retailer takes all the knives they recieve out of the tubes for photos and also charges way more than MSRP.
The key is having your payment already setup with the vender. You will loose every time with PayPal I know from my previous Northwoods and Gec experiences. Which actually pushed me away from them and then when time heals I go back then the prices rose even higher and then the same thing happens anyway lol.It amazes me to see people with multiples of a knife that many of us can't even land ONE of.
I had one in my cart and it was gone before my paypal finished.... we're talking 10 seconds, max....
congrats to those that got em.... I'm done with any kind of lollyscramble.
Has happened to me many times. I no longer even try for drops that are announced in advance. They are pretty much a cluster F…It amazes me to see people with multiples of a knife that many of us can't even land ONE of.

Exactly, and I realize that most people want to collect as many as they get lucky enough to drop on, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth because I just want one- ANY one- to put to work. Reading about “I got lucky on this drop, gonna keep this as a safe queen” gives me heartburn. I know, to each their own, but I mean why scramble to get a knife you’re gonna lock away to trade later? It amazes me to see people with multiples of a knife that many of us can't even land ONE of.

I know it’s personal bias fantasy, but it’s almost like I wished they would only sell to people who will actually use em. Ignore me, just jealous ramblings!
Yep... or those that buy one of each variety, then turn right around and sell them at a substantial profit... look at all the 36's for sale....Exactly, and I realize that most people want to collect as many as they get lucky enough to drop on, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth because I just want one- ANY one- to put to work. I will add one last comment ..Yep... or those that buy one of each variety, then turn right around and sell them at a substantial profit... look at all the 36's for sale....
Anyway, I don't want to turn this into a gripe session.... glad all those that got one, got one.....or two....
Just as I had given up hope of ever getting one...I got that email. You know I was just pondering on the last drop seconds ago between the green swamp bone and desert ironwood and they both sold out in secondsas I saw the 195 price point
Then this fell into my lap made in 2006 NIB one of 600 made at the queen factory
Dunno maybe it was a blessing In disguise but we will see

I'm not sure why the dealer should make huge profits. Maybe the actual company making them should profit. Oh, but they have said they would like to put out a knife that's "affordable".I would rather see the dealers make the markup than some techno-junky knife ninja who just knows how to job the system. If people are willing to pay $300, then that's what the dealers should charge. After all, they are trying to make a living do it.
Don't get me wrong, those that truly collect, and want multiples... good for them! I have no problem with people collecting. I'm just not "connected" enough, or savvy enough technically, to beat the others who ARE. Life in the fast lane...It's an odd time..... People used to come here to see knives in people's collections...... Said collectors used to be pleased to display their acquisitions....... Now there is a reluctance to display anything for concern of being associated with the price gouging, black market, back alley knife market.....
