2022 GEC Bayou Trapper #88 Thread

To clarify, Harvey, I wasn't knocking your preferences or decision with regards to the blade delete and I don't think you have any reason to justify your reasoning either. It remains a fine knife and is right at home in your rather impressive collection.
Understood and thank you. We talk about knives on the Porch, and the subject of blade deletes is a worthy topic, Didn’t mind adding my 2 cents. Your knowledge, which you generously share with us, is a treat.

John, do really have to ask me that question?
I love the Lambsfoot blade about as much as anybody, with the exception of a few... but I still think I'd prefer the Clip Blade on that handle shape.
But ya, I get why people are clamoring for a GEC Lambsfoot, even if it isn't on a traditional handle shape.

a pattern I thought I am gonna hate but ended up with few. this thing is a joy to use imo. only if they made one in ebony..that would have been epic

Hey !!! I did take those pictures in dim light. You saying my pictures suck???? It takes skill to get the sun to slip behind the clouds for dim lit pictures.
Wow, almost a year later and I seen you replied. Sorry I missed it. Not on you at all. Just joking about what you thought were bad pics. I try "special lights", my phone flash, I've done some outside in natural light. I even have one of those loght box things. I still screw it up.
