That has been a source of growing frustration for us knife folks. GEC needs to make larger runs of the more popular patterns and less of the ones that don't seem to move. They are only doing a special run of 100 of the jigged bone Waynorth 35s, when people have been calling for something like this for years. I wish they'd have done less of the 65, 05, 36, 94/49, 97 patterns and more of something like the jigged bone scout. I know brand apologists will say they don't want GEC turning into Case by mass producing an inferior product, but why not run 600 pieces of a pattern everyone clearly wants instead of 400 - 600 of one that there isn't a big demand on?

I will add my name to the list of those who will miss out on the short run #35. My go to dealer seems equally frustrated, judging by his response to my inquiry. And its now reached a point of feeling quite irate with GEC as a company, for all the reasons you mention.

Nifebrite would be great! We need more Nifebrite in general. (Honestly, I’m afraid they won’t be using it any more. I feel like it’s been a couple years since we’ve seen any.)

Which one did you choose for the safe queen? I know which one I’d pick of those two (if I did that sort of thing), just curious which you chose.

I guess I will have to get my $15 Marbles Chinesium Cattle knife and hold it while closing my eyes fantasizing about GEC greatness 🤣

They are both practically the same, but I picked the bottom one because it already had a couple minor stains on the bolster.
