Just got my Lick Creek Barlow
I'm super happy that it has some good character
Yes, the pulls are light, but the 'snap' is good... so I can live with it.

Nice character on the front side.

That’s a shame about the tube, but at least the knife arrived safe and sound.

I got my Cocobolo “Tom’s Back” in a couple days ago, and my Wormy Chestnut Lick Creek

Just got my Lick Creek Barlow

the knife made it ok

This was waiting for me when I got home this evening

There is only one decent sized worm hole on this one.

To all of you guys. These knives are absolutely gorgeous. I am really impressed with the way they have turned out. Congrats to all!

I am over the moon right now! My first GEC Barlow, and a TC Sawcut Bone at that.

I absolutely love this little knife. I had to give it two thorough flushings and while the pull is quite light, it is now very snappy, smooth, and honestly has THE most satisfying walk and talk of any knife I own. The bone coloring is gorgeous as well.




This certainly does have more FF issues than all of my other GEC’s and it unfortunately does have blade play as well, but I’m still very happy I was able to get one.

Yes, it is a beauty! If you’re
so inclined send it back to the mother ship and they’ll fix the wobble for minimal cost. Excellent score!

Yes, mine has a few gaps too.
But it's an expensive knife, so gaps are okay... right?
They are not acceptable on cheaper knives, like Case... or so I'm lead to believe by the posters here.

Just put my waynorth #14 Barlow with my other 14's for a group shot . I think that it does stand out a little from the others . There are a few " Hard To Gets " in the group .
