pvicenzi pvicenzi Well isn’t that interesting, the color came out pretty uniform from what I can see. I wonder how it will hold up if the knife will be a user, have you ever tried this before?

I wonder the same thing. I went to the hardware store, opened a bottle of this, and poured a bit onto my finger. I was able to wipe the color right off, so I don't see how it would be permanent, but maybe if it dries it becomes permanent, not sure.

Let it dry and see what happens. It usually took a couple of days of regular scrubbings to get it out from around my fingernails every time I used it at work. You'd think I would have learned to wear rubber gloves when I was using it, but I never did.

I have used it on wood handles. On wood, it absorbs fairly quick. I apply several times. This is my first try with bone. What I noticed, is it is a lot slower to soak in on the bone. It may not go very deep, but I have that whole bottle and I can reapply it if it wears off.

The other end of the dyeing register is those dark dyed bone scales that are too dark....so the green only shows in certain light....reminding me of Spinal Tap...
