...little orange specs...

I've been calling this one "red-tail richlite." 🤷🤣

I'm thinking that the reds and oranges are how richlite scorches. Richlite seems to darken profoundly with exposure to UV, heat, or both -- so says the richlite F&F 62 that I left out on the back porch for a couple weeks.

I love it! The red/green combo is cool.

i sure was tempted but it seems the fates had a different gec for me in mind. a perennial favorite is on its way! will drink to y'all incomings on the sidelines!

Could you please show it before and after?
I had ordered the other richlite option, Rosedale, and was mistakenly sent a Maple Valley Richlite, which I already had one of. I didn't really care about the mix up, as I had already decided to use both of them.

The top one went out on the back porch (in conditions like the ones the included picture was taken under) for a few weeks, while the other remained in the dark. I'm in South Florida, so 80° - 100°F daytime temperatures, periods of very intense direct sunlight, 50 - 65% humidity, sweaty hand oils - like a swamp (it's a swamp).

Thanks! Interesting to know. I personally like the color of top version more. Looks like butterscotch micarta.

I think these whiskeys are going to end up being VERY popular. There is a great story behind them. I'm also anticipating a fairly small run.
