  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

2024 GEC 811224

That pattern is called a serpentine moose....and it was a moose in a previous iteration from GEC also..... A moose pattern by definition has a clip on one end and a spey on the other and is almost always built on the same frame as a stockman, the Case 6275 for example.
I wondered why Charlie didn’t call it a moose. Per Bernard Levine’s description, the master blade of a Moose is a wide clip; and the secondary is either long spear or spey blade. Seems this one does not qualify because the secondary is not full size. Tremendous knife regardless. For the classification, I defer to others with much more experience!

maybe if it was a full spey? i know semantics. wow actually gec went heavy on the spey last year come to think of it...

I'm still enjoying this pattern very much.
