You got a nice one Charlie, a lot of the ironwoods I've seen this run have been fairly plain. I've got one on the way luck of the draw, will see what shows up.

With handling and use they all end up the same. My first ironwood is nearly a uniform dull brown now. Part of it’s charm I guess

I’m pretty sure that’s from Call of Ktulu. Either way, some of his best work.

The purple has landed. This one has the best fit and finish of my 81s and no catch bit issues.

Very elegant color indeed! Purple = Royalty.

Oh, no I don't have that kind of money or ability to track everything down like that. Especially a new release. I'm lucky to have snagged this one for non scalper prices. (Shout out to gunstockjack )

I agree I would absolutely love a Waynorth model or any additional ones, they all look great. I can only afford so much at a time, priorities right?... But like I said I'm certainly not disappointed with this one!

My streaked ebony 81 seems to be narrowly edging ahead of my stag 32 for most use and carry time of my recent purchases. In any case I am on a single spring kick and enjoying it. I will always have a place for two blade jacks, but loving the single springs.

I think we may learn that the purple are few in number. I could not find a second purple, but I stumbled into this one….

The 81 is my knife of the year without a doubt.

And the last one for me, maybe for the year. terribly off centered unlike my city stocks which came perfect. Randy did say send it back to get corrected tho. Guess itll be a user after its return trip.

Guess thats the blade shape I was thinking of. Perhaps its a slightly longer version.
