2024 GEC 811224

You got a nice one Charlie, a lot of the ironwoods I've seen this run have been fairly plain. I've got one on the way luck of the draw, will see what shows up.
Much nicer than my #32!!

Can’t wait to receive the three that I ordered (Violet Bone, Micarta & Ironwood). Now to keep an eye on the exchange for a City Stock as well!

Don't know if this is too far off topic for the thread. But, I'm honestly a little surprised we didn't get a 3 blade stockman out of the 81s. I know they had the single blade 39s on the production schedule for a while before they added the 2 bladed versions. Thought they might do the same here with a 3 bladed version being added to the production schedule late in the cycle.

very cool! turns out Randy said this was a brand new clip design made for the run

That is cool. GEC has produced so many different cool clips point blades of various shapes and sizes, but always well proportioned.

I had a similar thought that we might see a 3 blade 81 stockman in this run. I'm quite happy with the 2 blade versions, but a 3 blade 81 would be nice.... especially if it had a punch, sheepfoot and clip main.
