Is the grind thickness behind the edge on the main blade as thick as the previous run of PC’s? I have a smooth green banana 62 and am wondering whether or not to have Tom regrind it.![]()

Just the main blade, right?This is reground by Tom. I don't do any measurements on my blades. They carve better after tom is done. I have several carving knives done by him.

I thinkJiki and I started whittling around the same time, but he's really gone on to "master class" and I'm still hovering in "upper beginner" class. I don't spend much time at all doing it... I need to get back into it... it's a great stress reliever.... except for your thumbs...
