Nah, my 2cents is that these will be sans the match strike, shame, but far from a deal breaker. No matchstrike pull then? Or is it done afterwards?View attachment 2814510
You would be correctIt seems that usually when they make the cover on the GEC website they are ready to ship, so hopefully this week.

Absolutely.far from a deal breaker
They just don't have one yet.I suspect to some the match strike can start to lean towards the gaudy ?
I personally almost always prefer a match strike on my long pulls if given the option. On the regular nail nicks though, I don't like the eyelash lookNah, my 2cents is that these will be sans the match strike, shame, but far from a deal breaker.
P.S. I suspect to some the match strike can start to lean towards the gaudy ? But one or two in a collection aint a bad thing?
Absolutely agree….for now…my tastes might change down the road.I guess I'm weird. I like the match strike on the long pull but not the nail nick.
This is the one I opted for as well. I think it’s going to be the best of the run. None of the other covers really blow my skirt up.Collector Knives - blood red saw cut bone!
Wow, just wow. Never seen neither a Cripple Creek 25, nor match strike nick done by GEC. Looks absolutely fantastic. A little bit like a squeezed Cripple Creek 14.Not all match strikes are the same
I'm sure more are out there but the two I have...77 and 25 frame

Those rawhide richlite covers look like you could strike a match on them. See? No need for match strike pulls.Well that’s different. I kinda like it, it reminds me of a promotional knife.
