I just asked GPK last month. They said they’re still expecting to release one, just waiting on news about production from the mothership. No ETA givenSo no damascus annual this time ?
Same response I got from them…I just asked GPK last month. They said they’re still expecting to release one, just waiting on news about production from the mothership. No ETA given
Not sure what I think about “Meadow Damascus”. I know they’ll be gone in 60 seconds though. lol.Never going to financially recover from this December. Every dealer out hunting my wallet.

It's still a fairly nice pattern. Not my favorite pattern, but nice. Not sure what I think about “Meadow Damascus”. I know they’ll be gone in 60 seconds though. lol.

That's a nice pattern on three steel and on the koa! Where'd you get the picture?

I think the "Meadow" pattern does look a little like that, but a bit more Boomerang-y, which I like.Looks too similar to Spartan Harsey Damascus for me. I have a couple SHF in Damascus and they aren’t my favorite patterns but that’s just my personal opinion.

Man I sure hope the wood on mine is as nice as this example was.
Congrats to all who scored! It was a roughly three-minute sellout. By the time I was checked out, the larges were gone. I idly went back to try and check out with a small, and they were out of stock by about halfway through me trying to check out, so maybe 2-3 minutes total to sell out? My official order time was 10:02:32, and it took maybe three product page refreshes to get the "ADD TO CART" button, so probably about 2:30 total ordering time.
Hope the wood on mine is nice. Heck I guess at this point I don't trust fully that I scored until I see the "PENDING" note on my order change to "SHIPPED."
But... MATCHED SET OF LARGES!!!
I wonder what the count was this year. Also no lefties. You might've been one of the last ones ... I was at the same point you were roughly at the same time. I got Unable to place order and posted a screenshot to a friend at 11:03 ET
I wonder if they did the MagnaCut and Damascus on separate dates in part because of the site traffic load. DLT has by far the smoothest internet experience on limited drop checkout that I've ever experienced, no one comes close. This year the Annual was much better than last year for checkout at GPK, but it was still a slog. Last year I thought I missed entirely, but somehow checked out with a damascus small after almost twenty minutes of waiting for web page or page component loading.GP website was a bit clogged up, however the purchase process was fairly painless (especially compared to many other sites when releasing limited releases) Glad to be able to add a Damascus blade version!
A nice thing and a weird thing - I like how GPK automatically priced and shipped all of these to include FedEx two-day without having to manually select a shipping upgrade.I had previously thought I would try to snag one of these, but I'm out on a new Sebenza at $985. If I was going to spend that on a CRK I'd rather have a cool vintage one. Congrats to all who scored!
If I recall correctly from GP Knives post, the damascus versions were just not ready/complete in time for the drop earlier this year. I am happy to have snagged a damascus and can’t wait to see it.I wonder what the count was this year. Also no lefties.
