2025 first knife purchase?

Received a nice, modern Wharnie flipper for Christmas, but it was not a real good match for my 78 year-old hand, so back it went. My refund was approved yesterday, and now I'll get a basic Chaparral that I will use. Can't bring myself to use my gorgeous Sun and Moon. So, for anyone who noticed, this addiction never retires.

Quiet Carry “Catch” arrived today. But that’s going to be it for a while if I can help it.

Quiet Carry’s The Catch was my first knife purchase of 2025. Like all Quiet Carry gear, the catch has a thoughtful, minimalist design with attention to detail (fit/finish). It features a Vanax (my favorite steel) on bearings in a slim/compact package. It is also incredibly ergonomic when in use.

Very nice. I’ve had my eye on The Nine for ages, just never pulled the trigger. They seem very well made.
