We got tomatoes too. Ate the first ones yesterday. Delicious!!

Did you fertilize them ?

Yes I've fed and watered regularly. The Cow Peas beside them are doing great in a 20 gallon pot. The container the Beans are in is about 10 gallons and there are 3 vines in it. Maybe the container is to small.
Could be to much water as I give it a gallon 3 times a day, but the soil isn't to wet when I finger test It.

Ouch.
It's's been high 90,s here in Florida. The Web says Kentucky Blue are prone to drop flowers in high heat.

As soon as it hit the 90s my tomatoes slowed flowering and setting. Hope that when it cools they will start again

I think the problem is too much rain washing out all the fertilizer .

If that's the case I would expect to see high growth of grass and weeds at the base of the container ?
I fertilize weekly with a liquid fish emulsion and a small amount of granular low dose fertilizer.

Exactly last Friday got a months worth of rain in one day .

Anyone know what this plant is? Stalk and leaves look like corn but the top looks strange, full of tiny seeds. I’m not a farmer, I just live near farms.View attachment 2928145

Got my first two ripe figs today . Looks like our one remaining peach tree that produces well is coming along nicely as well. Those are almost all ready and it seems like it'll be a pretty good harvest, especially considering it's a small tree. We got a surprise late flush of blueberries after I thought they were done, and wild blackberries are everywhere right now.

I've eatin a couple Sungold Cherry maters. This is my 1st Beef Steak and man is it good and Juicy!
Swmbo and I tasted it, and then ate the whole thing . There are at least a couple dozen more on the plant that are a week or so from blushing and Picking.
I don't leave them on the Vine to ripen cause the critters want them too.
Here in central Floreeduh it is HOT as my 60 percent Shade cloth an the Frangipani,s shade is the only reason I have Maters at all.
Imma have a decent harvest even with the heat and blight.
I have had early Blight almost since planting them outside.Ive been working hard to control it and losing the battle. It's just the wrong time of year to Garden here due to pest and diseases .
But I have Seedlings to plant, prolly in October.

Today my bare root Strawberries arrived. Admittedly this is my 1st time getting them, but I Don't think these are good ones.
What say you ?
I ordered 25 and received 28. But I don't think it makes up for the Quality. Again what say you?

Given their wild ancestry ... I would give them a good chance of thriving. Add water and stand back lol
