2025 Gardening Thread

I really like it but the compost is Not done yet.My fault tho as I just keep adding to both sides instead of filling one at a time.
It's 65 gallon total and I started filling it in January I believe.
Mostly kitchen scraps and some garden waste. Recently I started adding Grass clippings and that's filling it fast.
I do have, and have used some usable Compost from it. It's just not all usable, due to operater error.
I would buy it again.

The fig tree ended up exceeding my wildest expectations this year. Counted 130+, many of which were monsters, and all among the best I've ever tasted.

Well I have one surviving Strawberry plant. I think it was just too hot. I ordered more, and I think I will start them indoors till the heat let's up. My row of Green beans are all up,and I've been eating Tomatoes.

I was wondering when you posted the pic earlier, if the bare strawberry roots were packed by seller in material that would keep the air off them until planted ... Just curious here ... Sorry for the disappointing outcome

They were shipped in a plastic bubble envelope. Inside there was a paper bag that contained the Roots and a moist piece of paper.

I bought a inexpensive green house to start seeds.
There are multiple tomato varieties, onions, Broccoli, and more Strawberry,s that I planted this morning.
My tomatoes are leggy, Probably from my cheap " Led grow lights" . So I may Transplant them and bury them deeper.

Lantana ? Right?

22-rimfire's favourite flowering plant if recollection serves...

This summer I became just so impressed with the lantana's fast re-blooming after deadheading ... early August full sun exposure and the whole plant went from green leaves to full bloom in about a week

It's either Lantana or Penta I'm told.
