2025 Remington Bullet knife made by Buck?

Utica's catalog shows this:

Are all of their parts made overseas but assembled in the USA?

Buck sources some foreign made parts, and one could argue that even exotic wood, including Ebony, could be considered globally sourced. When injection modeled handles from China are paired up with USA made blades, are they truly Made in USA knives?
this is the new type of statement I see slapped on things from USA made boots to hvac equipment......

guess legal departments have dug in and changed the made in usa to this more accurate statement.....

it's confusing, but I just take it as possibly more ( hopefully good paying) jobs here....which isn't entirely accurate either......

The FTC has things called " qualified statements " which require specification that the product isn't entirely made here.
And with these language matters, made is different than assembled.
This particular statement means the knife is made here with some components that aren't.
There are companies who want to make it clear that some of the materials are domestic " US & GLOBALLY SOURCED " but they aren't required to say this.
The fact that they are allowed to use the word " made " instead of " assembled " tells me that only some of the materials are foreign.
And China is not the only foreign source out there BTW.

Case for example has to use a qualified statement because the exotic woods they offer are foreign and most cow bone processed for knife handles comes from Brazil I believe.

Well, I haven't gotten a callback from Utica.

Maybe they will ignore me since this is such a troubled issue.

Well, I received mine from the guns and ammo shop - I guess it was legit. They say it's made of bone but they cut it so deeply to look like stag, it looks fake. It definitely isn't a Buck 110 :). If I really wanted to know, I'd buy a Utica Original II as well but I just don't care enough about it. It's bad enough I had to buy this for my humble Remington bullet collection.

It is a nice looking lockback to me, and it looks like a Bear & Son product. Bet it will skin the hide right off a deer! OH

Maybe. B&S has, I think, made Remington bullets in the past. But since it looks so much like the Utica Original II, I'm still leaning towards that.
